Wondrous Sea-Life Reflected in Izzo Jewelry

Massimo Izzo, the founder of the brand, is the son of an Italian military officer; he was born in Messina but grew up in Siracusa. From an early age, he was enchanted by the sight of jewelry pieces and the beauty of the vast sea. So, after completing college, Izzo joined the art school of the State of Siracuse in Sicily. His aim was to try out the various crafting techniques in gold and other metals. During the early 80s, Izzo worked as an assistant for Salvatore Cassone, a renowned jeweler in Siracusa. This was soon followed by Izzo establishing his own jewelry brand.

Mr. Izzo’s creations pay tribute to his native Sicily, Hellenic beauty, and memories of time spent in close proximity to the Mediterranean. It’s no wonder that his main source of inspiration turned out to be sea-life. Izzo adores creating replicas of sea creatures, such as starfish, octopuses, crabs, seahorses, and corals; all of which form an integral part of his jewelry creations.

His outstanding designing skills contributed to the creation of exclusive ornaments; earning him a prominent place in high-end jewelry. In 2007, Izzo opened a jewelry boutique in the glamorous Archimedes Square in Syracuse; to honor his 20-year-old successful career. Tourists from across the world arrive at this location to admire the magnificent jewelry creations of the Izzo brand.

Mesmerizing hues and enticing shapes

Izzo strongly supports the techniques of olden day jewelers in his designing of antique jewelry. From his vast experience and visits to foreign countries, he has acquired a truly amazing, unique, and ingenious crafting style.

His designing performance is highly exclusive in terms of style, materials, and techniques. He uses materials like coral oranges, raw aquamarine or morganite; all of which are treated with painstaking care, hammered and polished by the hands of a highly accomplished artisan. Then the jewelry creations are adorned with precious gems, like emeralds, diamonds, and white, pink or yellow gold; each piece is transformed into a unique work of art depicting ancient beauty.

Izzo ornaments, luxury jewelry at discounted prices

One of Izzo’s most renowned collections is “Jewels of the Sea”; portraying coral bracelets, seahorse rings, urchin pendants, crab necklaces, and hoards of other superb jewelry pieces reminiscent of marine life.

Now that you are enthralled by the splendor of Izzo jewelry, the Miller House is proud to offer its services in giving you the joy of being able to own these wonderous jewels at an affordable price.
